Snorkling at Krangket Island Papua New Guinea
This island just off of Madang has some great reefs. We walked 30 minutes from the villages where the water taxi drops you off to the NW corner and found some great diving after a very awkward "conversation" with two men in the nearest village.

a rainy day in Szentendre, Hungary
The individual character of this lovingly restored Old Town with its narrow streets, delightful maze of houses painted in autumnal colours, secretive gardens and lanes winding up to hilltop churches and picturesque views of the Danube was shaped in the 18th C by the immigrant Serbs whose culture, religion, traditions and above all building methods left their mark on the town.
At the beginning of the 20th C numerous artists were attracted to this charming little town by the river and many still are today. The town's location on the lower slopes of the Pilis range is not only beautiful, but ensures that Szentendre enjoys more hours of sunlight than anywhere else in Hungary, making it a perfect spot for an artists colony.
