I have booked for my honeymoon trip in Maldives for 2 weeks ago,

Honeymoon trip to Maldives for a week in a 3 star resort would cost you between US$1500 to US$1800 in peak season (November to April) to US$2000 to US$2500 in low seasons (May /June/July).

USD 500/- per day should do on a 5 star hotel. This includes lodging meals and extras. based on Baros Maldives Resort and year 2009

The prices quoted are pretty much accurate estimates include lodging, food, and spending money. (EXCLUDING FLIGHTS but including internal transfers)
