Just returned after two weeks at Velidhu(26th Feb to 12th March 2009). Travelled there with my wife, my sister and my brother-in-law. Our second visit to the Maldives but our first visit to Velidhu. We travelled Emirates via Dubai and as always the Emirates service was second to none. We travelled by seaplane to Velidhu Picture postcard beach, beautiful island and the snorkelling is out of this world. I have travelled a fair bit, including to the Maldives before, but this island is heaven on earth. The size of the island is perfect…not too big to feel ‘resorty’
