Maldives Island The weather and rain in May

Many people go to the Maldives on their honeymoon -- I never understood the concern they have with the weather!
The weather in the Maldives is wonderful -- enjoy. It's a bit wet, but the rain won't last long. Personally I love it, as it look more beautiful after the small rain.I've been in May and it rained once for 10 minutes! May is a great time to visit. if you travel on may than you should expect rain time to time. Because may is monsoon period. However as someone said rain stop quickly even if it does. But you may expect cloudy during may for sometimes 2 days. I sugest you to travel on July or August.

Even if it does rain, it will still be hot and you'll still have a fab time.
Maldives is the sunny side of life. it's a beautiful place to go for vacation and honeymoon. and in my own experience May in Maldives is sunny nice weather you will enjoy the beach the beach activities.
There really isn't anything to worry about, it'll be hot and wonderful!
